I want to compliment the gentleman for all of the fine things that he has been able to present during this debate. not only during the debate on this amendment. but throughout the debate from time to time. I think he has done a fine job of letting his colleagues know some of the wisdom of his experience as an immigration attorney before he came here. and a lot of the time that he has spent working and analyzing this legislation. particularly the area of legal immigration. The impact of the problems of this. bill on that. and I think the gentleman has made a major contribution. I would compliment him on it.
