Page 39. line 12. after the comma insert the following: "(III) in the case an appeal to the United States Immigration Board from a denial of an application for asylum has been taken under section 107(b). a decision of the Board is not rendered on the appeal within 60 days of the date the notice of appeal is filed with the Board. or (IV) in the case Judicial review of a denial of an application for asylum has been taken under section 106(a). a decision of the reviewing court on the petition for review is not rendered within 30 days of the date the petition is filed with the court.". Page 39. at the end of line 20. insert the following new sentence: "Nothing in this section shall be construed as allowing for the detention of an alien without a showing that the alien has violated a reasonable condition of the release or that the continued release of the alien would pose a danger to any other person or to the community.".
