If I might just say. you can bring actions against them that are more than deportation. But the fact of the matter is we send most of them back because we are so inundated with hundreds of thousands virtually on a weekly or monthly basis that you could not possibly prosecute them all. We have tried focusing solely on the person who comes in here illegally. We have found that does not work. Every single study has shown you need employer sanctions. That is why we are at this point. and I would hope that we would debate the gentlemans amendment and not the general question.
