I believe that this bill makes it very clear that we do not tolerate that kind of effort. even on the part of a Presidential study. If you look at all the options that are available. what are we really trying to do with the language of the committee bill? We are trying to say that over a period of 3 years. when we get done here. we go to conference and we get a bill for immigration reform. and it is so important and we need it. we are going to have the executive branch in a position to study the phone calling checking system. if that does pass. That is going to be in partnership with the Social Security Administration. Or with the Lungren amendment and the documentation that that is going to require.
