Ulanovsky is currently a researcher at the Weizman Institute of Science in Israel. and is still hoping for the release of his mother and grandmother from the Soviet Union. We of the United States must not allow such treatment. such flagrant violations of human rights. to continue unabated and unanswered. We must not let the plight of the Ulanovsky family. and others like them. be forgotten. I know my colleagues will want to Join me in calling for immediate reforms of such abusive practices. so that Soviet Jews. and all other Soviet citizens who wish to emigrate. may be allowed to leave their country..
