I am happy to report to the Congress that this time Mr. Mikoyn. a member of the Ambassadors staff. came out and did meet with the representatives of Chicago Action for Soviet Jewry. Pam Cohen and Marillyn Tallman. who do excellent work to further this cause. They engaged in an extensive dialog about prisoners of conscience and the ref usals for emigration for a fairly long time. They spoke for about 15 minutes. I am given to understand. and there was a feeling that perhaps this small act of decent humanity and at least having a dialog might give us some hope for the future.
