We ask you. as your nations new leader. to restate the Soviet Unions commitment to those basic principles as espoused in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to live up to those principles by opening the Soviet Unions doors and allowing those Soviet Jews who wish to emigrate to do so.
