I would like to applaud the very fine performance that WVWI Radio of the U.S. Virgin Islands carried out in broadcasting essential news of the Grenada situation. in establishing direct contact with ham radio operators on that island. and for acting as an essential relay station for conveying information to mainland radio and television stations. WVWI. which broadcasts with 5.000 watts throughout much of the Caribbean. became a recognized source of news and information for the numerous Grenadian immigrants who reside in the Virgin Islands as well as for those having relatives and friends living on Grenada. Particular praise has to go to the manager and vice president of WVWI. Mr.
