I urge my colleagues to support this compromise. and let Legal Services get on toward its goal of equal access to justice. Mr. President. I wish to thank everybody for working out the provisions I was interested inprovisions which. under the original bill. would have expanded use of Legal Services by illegal aliens. I think that in a time when Legal Services has more clients than it can service adequately. it would be a wrong time to consider expanding the use of Legal Services by a category of people who. in the first place. should not be in this country. So I compliment everybody for the compromise. and I urge its adoption.
