In late August. when we were visiting an Afghan refugee camp at the PakistanAfghanistan border. we encountered thousands of refugees in need of medical assistance. One of the worst problems was the lack of antituberculosis medication. John "just happened to have" with him several boxes of antituberculosis medication provided to him by the Merrell Dow Pharmaceutical Co. to present to the camp authorities in Peshawar.
