It is a privileged matter. one that requires the immediate attention of the Senate. and I hope that we could finish the balanced budget resolution in order to take that up on Friday or Monday. After the conclusion of the reconciliation bill. according to the schedule previously announced. we will go to the next urgent supplemental if it is available and to the immigration bill as may be desirable and ultimately to the second debt limit bill. I have talked to the distinguished chairman of the Finance Committee about the second debt limit and requested that the committee consider that bill and report it to the Chamber in order to have it available for action during the month of August and prior to our recess for the Labor Day break.
