Speaker. I would like to take this opportunity to join my colleagues in once again speaking on behalf of Ida Nudel. It has now been 11 years since Ida Nudel began her ordeal to gain an emigration visa to join her sister in Israel. In that time she has been subjected to various forms of harassment and persecution in order to fulfill her desire to return to her "homeland." Although her only crime has been this longing. Ida has been forced to spend the last 4 years of her life in exile in a remote and isolated village in Siberia.
