Mr. Woods contributions in community service match those in government service. as he frequently lectures in colleges and universities throughout the State. and serves actively in numerous organizations ranging from the Black Americans Political Association of California to the Northern California United Way Board of Directors. He was appointed by Governor Brown to serve on the State task force assigned to aid Indochinese refugees in California. and serves on the Governors Committee on Employment of the Handicapped.
