Mr. Speaker. the exploitation of the country of Lebanon has gone far enough. Thousands of Lebanese have been killed and thousands more wounded. and many are women and children and many are refugees in their own country. This once beautiful country in now in shambles. In addition. the State Department tells me that 26 Israelis have been killed and 90 wounded. This violence must end. What the PLO had done in terms of violence in the past is wrong. What the Israelis are currently doing to the country of Lebanon is wrong. Thinking people throughout the world know this. What will our Government do?
