This has been done. realizing that for thousands of years many nations forbade Jews to own land or to cultivate it. When the nearly 1/2 million Jewish immigrants came to Israel. they had to learn a completely new occupation in order to survive. This mastery of agricultural processes. their cooperatives and collective farming projects are examples for all of the nations of the world to follow. But their prowess and vitality extends far beyond the boundaries of the agricultural sector.
