Much more needs to be done. We need to enact bail reform laws. get the Internal Revenue Service fully involved in the drug trafficking fight. pass tougher sentencing laws. and eliminate frivolous appeals. These are all necessary steps in stopping drug trafficking and cutting down on crime. We need to pass immigration reform legislation. legislation that allows the United States. and not foreign govern. ments. to set our immigration policies. These will not be easy steps to take. but I am convinced that the people of Florida are committed to doing what they can to help the Federal Government move on these matters. Mr.
