I was especially pleased to see the editorial in the Chicago SunTimes of February 9. which reiterates my views that the INS procedures in processing paperwork must be streamlined. Illegal aliens are receiving benefits and legal immigrants are denied prompt action on their applications because of the mess in handling their cases by the Immigration Service. We must correct this bureaucratic nightmare by using modern computer methods set up by contract with the Government. For the benefit of the Members.
