Mr. President. I am Introducing today a private relief immigration bill for three Vietnamese children. The children. Tran Van Nghiep. age 10. Tran Quang Nguyen. age 9. and Nguyen Van Tin. age 12. have lived for 2 years at the Argyle Four Transit Center in Hong Kong. Their plight is an unusual one because the boys each have a set of parents in Vietnam. The unfortunate story of these children began in late 1979. when they Joined some of their villagers in escaping Vietnam by boat. They arrived in Hong Kong on September 27. 1979. and were then transferred to the Argyle Four Transit Center. where they have remained.
