I can only assure him that the measure he has introduced today will receive the full consideration of the Subcommittee on Immigration and Refugee Policy. We will give it our clear attention as we pursue. soon after the beginning of the next session. the complete rewrite of the Immigration and Nationality Act. with the various procedures and bills which have been presented to the committee. I do commend him because he has been extraordinarily persistent in commanding our attention on this matter.
