Speaker. we frequently hear of the plights of human rights cases throughout the world. In so many instances the evidence of the plight is that of a picture in a paper that is sent to us or a letter that we receive. Let me tell the Members that the human experience of meeting a young woman who was born in the Soviet Union and who had to leave the Soviet Union with her child and emigrate to Israel. a young woman whose husband could not join her because of the arrogance and because of the sense of destruction which is so common with Soviet authorities. is indeed tragic.
