One of these families. the Azirian family of Sis. Western Armenia. at present occupied by Turkey. is planning a reunion in southern California during the month of August. They have planned a series of events to bring together the descendants of the original family. who were scattered due to the massacres and deportations of 191516. This will enable relatives who have never seen each other to become acquainted and those who parted as small children can once again share a portion of each others lives. The Azirian family. in its quest for survival. was scattered to every continent in the world.
