I believe that this is an excellent agreement which reconciles the justifiable concerns of both the Labor and Human Resources Committee and the Judiciary Committee. I am pleased to be a chief cosponsor of this amendment.. I would like to ask the distinguished chairman of the Budget Committee to clarify certain aspects of this agreement. It is my understanding that the Labor and Human Resources Committee will not be penalized for the reassignment of the refugee account savings to the Judiciary Committee. and will still be considered in compliance with the reconciliation instruction after taking all parts of this amendment into account.
