Session #97 · 1981–83

Speech #970037712

Mr. Chairman. I am not going to repeat much of what has been said about immigration and naturalization. I just want to echo what has been said by my predecessors and tell my colleague. the gentleman from Kentucky. that I feel very secure that immigration and naturalization is in his able hands. I know we will begin to address the myriad of problems that we will be facing in that important area. I want to direct my few minutes. if I might. to the jurisdiction of the Drug Enforcement Administration. which is part of my responsibility as chairman of the Subcommittee on Crime.
