I cosigned a letter to President Reagan with 103 of my colleagues earlier this year. In the letter. we requested that funding in the fiscal year 1982 budget be continued for the Office of Special Investigations in the Department of Justice. This units job is to help in the search for these suspected war criminals and if found. to initiate denaturalization and deportation proceedings against them. It is a major concern of mine that the Office be allowed to continue in its work. and I hope that the President and his officials agree. There is another method of keeping the holocaust memories from being forgotten.
