As one of my own adopted prisoners of conscience. I have spoken out on behalf of Ida Nudel many times in the past. I know that she will somehow survive until she can reach Israel. Since there is no easy road to Idas freedom. we all must continue to speak out on her behalf so that she can be reunited with her family and her people. I urge the Reagan administration to pursue this goal as well and to continue its commitment to human rights in the Soviet Union so that emigration can become available as a realistic choice for all Soviet citizens.e
