Mr. Speaker. last week. the Boston Globe reported another in a series of massacres perpetrated upon the peoples of El Salvador by the National Guard. The latest attack. occurring in the Rio Lempa. was similar in nature to the alleged massacre last May of an estimated 600 fleeing refugees slaughtered near the Salvador/Honduras border. For the benefit of my colleagues. I am submitting for the REcoRD two personal accounts of this previous attack made by peasants whose lives were spared.
