Mr. Speaker. let me say to the Members of the House that I would like to bring to their attention the case of a Soviet Jew. Viktor Brailovsky. In 1973 the Brailovsky family asked for exit visas. and then the harassment and the trouble started. In November. Mr. Brailovsky had published a little mimeographed paper asking that the Jews be allowed. if they wished. to leave the Soviet Union. He is now in prison with a very serious liver ailment. I would like to urge strongly that all Members of the House write to the Soviet Ambassador here asking that Viktor Brailovsky get medical treatment. that his wife.
