International Security Affairs at the Defense Department assumed responsibility. while Gen. Eugene B. Tighe. Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. began to devote greatly increased efforts to the pursuit of numerous reports covering hundreds of refugees as to the fate of our missing Americans.
