I make the comment that while this can be judged as worthy or not worthy according to each ones own outlook. we are facing a difficulty here. It was a bit of inspired leadership by the Speaker last night when he suggested this compromise at the end of the debate and called off the gentleman from New York until today. But the difficulty that it presents is that now every one is getting in line. Just a moment ago. the gentleman from Florida came over and asked whether we would object to $21 million for refugees in Florida. That was left out of the bill last night. Perhaps there will be a motion to suspend the rules and take that up later today.
