Speech #960334480

It is. therefore. essential that Americans continue to show concern and support for all persons who are suffering needless persecution at the hands of Soviet rulers. Americans can make a difference in the eternal struggle for individual liberty. For this reason. Senate Concurrent Resolution 60 urges the administration to voice its abhorrence to Soviet rulers concerning the religious harassment of Christians and the restrictions on emigration. Senate Concurrent Resolution 61 urges leaders in the U.S.S.R. and Sovietoccupied Bulgaria. Yugoslavia.
