We have tried to open the door into our economy to people who have been left out. with programs just like CETA. Now this amendment wants to shut that door and slam it shut in the face of those people who are waiting in line. I have supported the Senator from Florida in the pastand I will in the futureon funds to deal with the problem of Cuban refugees who have come into his State. It is a serious problem and I respect the fact that he has fought for funds to try to help those people. I say again here I will help him In the future on that because I think it Is right.
