Helens disaster. I have disagreement on the matter of coastal energy impact funds being requested by the Senator from Louisiana. I have disagreements with the excessive funds put into this bill in the name of the Cuban refugee assistance. But these matters have been deliberated at length very carefully by the committee. and they have been included in this bill. and I do not feel it is up to me to go ahead and wipe that record out in the sense of another goodmaybe not a greater good. but certainly another good. But the fact is what we are talking about here is a commitment made by the Government of the United States. its executive and legislative branches. and whether or not we are going to live up to it.
