He got a Job through the union. but he got the union through his mom and dad. When push came to shove. he knew which side he was on and started signing up members as part of the now historic Hardy Clan. *Hes never stopped. Georges dad. Charles ("Pop") Hardy was an English immigrant who came to San Francisco by way of the Canadian Northwest. where he worked on the Canadian Pacific and drove twelvehorse rigs. In Winnipeg. he met and married Bertha Fritchett. In Vancouver they had their sons.
