Chairman. we are already nickle and diming the world to death. Yet. as we talk of reductions in an already inadequate program. children are dying. Thailand is another case in point. We used her land for bases during Vietnam. Her per capita income is only $420 a CX:XVI-----8 1 Part 11 year. she is flooded with refugees from throughout southeast Asia and is surrounded by hostile Communist governments. Proposed reductions would be a serious blow not only to our economic assistance programs to Thailand. but to the military aid programs as well. Is this where we are really coming from as a nation?
