I have talked this over with the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. I am prepared to give the mover of the amendment assurances that we propose to include in the foreign assistance bill. which we are presently marking up. or we will consider very closely a floor amendment by Senator PRESSLER an instruction to the President to provide us a detailed annual report on what our allies are doing with respect to their contributions for foreign aid and other official assistance. That would include. by the way. refugee assistance. This is a logical extension. I reiterate. to section 126. which Senator PRESSLER. himself. was the author of and to which I have referred.
