She was already living in a camp made up of prisoners considered extremely dangerous to society. This new attack could act to prejudice the townspeople against Ida Nudel and encourage violence against this gentle woman. who has no means of defending herself. Ida Nudel has asked only for the most basic of human rightsthe right to religious freedom and the right to emigrate to Israel and be reunited with her family. I sincerely hope that this time next year we will find Ida Nudel living in peace and freedom with her loved ones in Israel. We must all take heart from her example. and not give up the fight.0
