I come from a very conservative part of the country. I think that communism is one of the things that we have to be concerned about. and we have fought it. Yet we have not until now provided a comprehensive policy to give refuge to the refugees who are fleeing communism. Mr. Chairman. I would just like to say in conclusion that this country is the leader of the free world. We believe that people should be allowed to have an opportunity to provide for themselves. Certainly the refugees who have come into this country have proved over and over again that they appreciate the opportunity. and that they will provide for themselves. Other philosophies try to spread their philosophy by force and by taking over governments. This country does it by example.
