Mr. Speaker. I rise in support of House Concurrent Resolution 202. a resolution urging the Soviet Union to allow Ida Nudel to emigrate to Israel. Ms. Nudel is an activist on behalf of Soviet Jewish prisoners of conscience. who is presently imprisoned in the Soviet Union. I am submitting the following brief biographical sketch. furnished by Ms. Nancy Schiller. chairman of the Soviet Task Force on Soviet Jewry in Buffalo. N.Y.. and ask my colleagues to vote in favor of this resolution to permit Ida Nudel to emigrate to Israel so that she can be reunited with her sister and husband.
