Ida Nudel is a 48yearold Soviet Jew who has spent a major part of her life In constant fear for her life and without the opportunity of expressing her religious beliefs. These difficult physical and moral conditions have taken their toll on Ida Nudel and she has aged rapidly and her health has begun to fail. This fine woman has been banished to Krivosheino. an isolated and inaccessible village in Siberia. to serve her term of exile. Her one request of the government is that she be granted a visa to Join her sister who is now living in Israel. Mr. Speaker. as a matter of conscience.
