Although the American people sympathize with the victims of the Communist Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge terror in Cambodia. the U.S. taxpayers should not be financially responsible for the hideous crimes of the communist imperialism. The Communist aggression in Indochina should be stopped and the Vietnamese troops should be withdrawn from Cambodia and Laos. If the U.N. does not accept these suggestions and continues to give aid to the aggressive Government of Vietnam. it is just one more reason why the United States should leave the United Nations organization. These are just some of the reasons why I voted against the Supplemental Refugee Assistance bill. H.R. 4955. which was before the House recently.*
