For the FBI. $575.6 million. Tenth. For the Immigration and Naturalization Service. $320 million. Eleventh. For the Drug Enforcement Administration. $193.8 million (separately and previously authorized prior to fiscal 1980) . and Twelfth. For the Federal Prison Service. $334 million. In addition to the moneys specifically authorized by section 2 of the bill. there are authorized to be appropriated $5.7 million to improve the quality of medical services within the prison system and $30.000 to improve the quality of legal services within the system. An additional $376.000 is authorized to establish an Office of Inspector General within the Immigration Service. The bill also contains one openended authorization "such sums as may be necessary" for fiscal 1980. But those are for nondiscretionary increases in salary. pay. retirement. and other employee benefits authorized by law.
