I believe that it is imperative that the Congress support this legislation that will prevent the death of almost 2 million people. Mr. Speaker. I would like to include for the benefit of my colleagues. a statement from the Citizens Commission on Indochinese Refugees. which urges help for Cambodia. particularly for those people who have gathered on the Thai bordersuffering from hunger and disease. The Citizens Commission is a group of prominent Americans from business. labor. and voluntary agencies and religious groups who have devoted their energies over the past 2 years to protecting the human rights of the suffering people of Southeast Asia.
