Mr. Flinchum suggests that we "extend a welcome to the South Vietnamese and hope that they may soon adjust to their new homes." I urge that the Senate extend a warm welcome to the unfortunate people of South Vietnama resoundingly warm welcome that will show the world the early news reports about American opposition to the refugees were made newsworthy only because such opposition reflected the beat of a different druma curiosity.
