I just wish to say that I recognize that someone who has done some of the terrible things that some people in South Vietnam apparently did would. of course. not hesitate to sign the sort of affidavit that the Immigration Service will require. But that Is not the end of the matter. Signing such a document exposes them to charges of perjury and to expulsion from our land if it turns out that they were not telling the truth. It leaves an opportunity to deal with the sort of problem that the Senator from South Dakota has discussed. I certainly share some of the concerns that led the Senator to make the point that he made.
