I met with many of them last week at the American Council of Voluntary Agencies headquarters in New York. and I was impressed with the speed and effectiveness of their programs. Mr. President. I would like to share with the Senate a list of those voluntary agencies which are now providing. or are planning to provide. emergency humanitarian assistance to Vietnamese refugees. orphans. and other war victims. Their efforts are worthy of our praise and. even more. of our support. I ask unanimous consent that a list of emergency refugee aid programs in Vietnam now being undertaken by U.S. voluntary agencies be printed in the RECORD.
