Language accepted in this report will extend the required notification period to 15 days. In addition. the requirement Is expanded to Include additional programs. such as the United Nations Environment Fund. the Indus Basin Development Fund. AID administrative expenses. the InterAmerican Foundation. the Peace Corps. assistance to refugees from the Soviet Union and assistance to Palestinian refugees. This additional notification requirement should not be looked at as a judgment on the merits of any of these programs. It just gives to the Congress adequate time to review any proposed changes in the operations of these programs which may come about due to new situations.
