Mr. President. the Senate Health Subcommittee this week begins hearings on legislation to provide health services. Specifically. the subcommittee will be considering migrant health. community mental health centers. National Health Service Corps. health revenue sharing. and a program for community health centers. On May 1 the subcommittee will receive testimony regarding the extension of the Community Mental Health Centers Act which is scheduled to expire on June 30. Last year the Congress extended the community mental health centers program for 1 year without substantive change and we are now reviewing the program with the expectation that some changes will be made in the program.
