As with so many others. he has lost his job. been ostracized from the community. and continues to be subject to harassment fol over a year. Last fall. a group from Temple Beth Shalom in Los Angeles spoke with Boris Rubinstein over the telephone which followed extensive correspondence from members of the congregation to hi! family. I cannot reprint the entire transcript. but a few words from Boris Rubinstein epitomize his situation. and his great reliance on the help of Americans in achieving an exit visa: My situation is quite bad and uncertain. I dont know anything. What can I do. and so I must wait.
