I cannot possibly avoid the conclusion that no debate on Soviet Union Jewry I have heard or read in an international forum or in a national parliament has been as informative or dedicated as this one. I think. when Mr. Gessner said that the number of Jews who want to emigrate from the Soviet Union is much greater than the number of Jews who are permitted to leave.
