I cannot possibly avoid the conclusion that no debate on Soviet Union Jewry I have heard or read in an international forum or in a national parliament has been as informative or dedicated as this one. I am extremely grateful for the points made. the facts given and the moral values expressed by several members of the Assembly. I can only agree to most of these observations. It was right. I think. when Mr. Gessner said that the number of Jews who want to emigrate from the Soviet Union is much greater than the number of Jews who are permitted to leave. Also I think it is very important to stress. as Mr. KahnAckermann -and Mr.
