I will say to the gentleman from Missouri that the resolution is couched in the same language as the Vanik amendment which we adopted in the House which would prohibit credits until the Soviet Union has changed its immigration policies. As far as our total loans to date to the Soviet Union. the Board has loaned a grand total for 1973 and 1974 of almost $160 million and another $200 million has been promised on the basis of preliminary commitments. I would almost state that the ExportImport Bank at the present time Is considering a $49 million loan to the Soviet Union for the exploration of gas fields in Eastern Siberia.
